Get to know Jonathan Whitmore, Event Clerk.

Jonathan grew up in Yakima with seven siblings! He attended college at Washington State (go Cougs!), double-majoring in International Business and French.

Jonathan has always had a soft spot for kids and their growth and development. He spent a year with Americorps, with a focus on helping underrepresented kids get access to education and other services. He also was a founding member of one of the very first charter schools in Washington.

Jonathan currently serves as Development Manager for Youth Villages, helping young adults who are aging out of youth services. While he’s been involved in the logistical side of nonprofits for years, working as a clerk allows him to partner with many orgs in a different way. 

When not working, Jonathan is an avid fantasy reader. He enjoys hiking and camping in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and loves trying new restaurants and visiting wineries with his wife Lillie. Another mouth-watering hobby includes smoking his own meats and dipping them in homemade (from scratch) sauces. Yum!
