Get to know Ariel Puls, Maven Bid Assistant.

Ariel is a talented actress, lover of Shakespeare and the great outdoors. Born and raised in Portland, Ariel graduated from Grant High School, earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Portland and completed her master’s degree at the prestigious Columbia University in New York.

While Ariel does indeed channel the main character in ​The Little Mermaid​ with all that beautiful red hair, she’s actually named after the powerful spirit from ​The Tempest​. Is it any wonder she’s a huge Shakespeare fan? As a core company member of the nonprofit Original Practice Shakespeare Festival, she performs his timeless tales every summer – for free! OPS is a unique theatre troupe that’s the perfect fit for Ariel, combining her love for the Bard and her strong belief that theatre should be accessible to all.

Ariel loves working with nonprofits, supporting great causes, connecting people and making a difference doing GOOD! This is precisely why she’s such a natural at advancing bids at fundraisers and charming donors. Family and animals are paramount – she spends much of her time with her two dogs, a cat, her parents and brother. Final fun fact: She has not yet tasted an ice cream flavor she doesn’t like!
